Our Foundation
Sockaci Contracting owner Evan Sockaci was always interested in building and spent summers building in his backyard as a child. As a teenager, he worked for several local contractors laboring and framing homes. When it came time for college, he decided to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in construction management. Upon graduation, he secured a field engineer position at Whiting-Turner and later worked as a project manager for Brayman Construction. For nearly two decades, Evan managed several construction large builds. His experience ranges from large hospital renovations to heavy civil construction projects, such as bridges and dams.

Building a Legacy
Yet, his deep desire to continue to excel at his craft turned conflicting and more personal as his family grew and he looked to balance family responsibilities with the pressing needs of travel in his corporate positions. So, he pivoted his energy toward more self-fulfilling work closer to home, founding Sockaci Contracting LLC in 2018. Focused on new construction and home remodeling in Beaver, Butler and Lawrence counties, Sockaci Contracting quickly earned a reputation for extremely high quality of craftmanship and — more importantly — impeccable customer service. He credits his large-build background with experience in green building techniques and LEED-certified builds coupled with his passion for preservation and efficiency for his huge design integrity focus.
